Mission Statement
Swept Away understands that the demands of modern careers and lifestyles can sometimes create a gap between what you need to do and what you want to do. Our mission is to assist you in creating a balance by providing services that enhance your home and optimize your leisure time.
Initial Contact
Prospective clients may either phone (814)218-0535 or send an e-mail inquiry. A copy of the guide to services can be e-mailed to you as a Word document. After reading our literature, you are encouraged to phone or e-mail with any questions. If you choose to enter into a partnership with us, call or e-mail to schedule an appointment.
The consultation
Prospective clients and Marilyn Guelcher , the owner of Swept Away, will meet at your home for a consultation that generally lasts between thirty and sixty minutes.
- During the consultation the following items will be discussed.
- We’ll review your household and lifestyle needs as well as Swept Away’s policies, service guide, payments and schedules.
- When we sign the service contract, we will also agree upon such things as how we will be allowed access to your home, what you do in emergency situations etc.
Clientele
Swept Away provides house sitting and home cleaning services. Our client base consists of both traditional and non-traditional households.
Community and Education
Swept Away provides some services free of charge to terminally ill Erie and Erie area residents. Please ask for further information. We honor our commitment to helping community members in their time of need. Swept Away also is an active participant in the American Cancer Society and also supports the fight for a cure.
